There's a great disparity between being childish and being naive.
Everyone has their own tragic flaw.
As we face challenges we may inadvertently but gradually lose some of our childhood innocence bit by bit as our eyes are opened to all that is possible in the world.
What can we do except live and let live.
Let us hope that time will heal all, and hope too prominent scars remain, for they remind us of the ordeals we have overcome, and keep us wary and more composed for those over the horizon, slowly but surely creeping closer by the day.
